Fabiana Filippi Eyes U.S. Expansion

Fabiana Filippi (Perugia, Italy) is developing a business plan for the North American market, which will include the opening of a New York flagship, according to Women’s Wear Daily

The Italian luxury women’s cashmere retailer saw a 15 percent rise in its revenue in 2013 as compared to 2012 to more than $81 million, and sells its collection at Nordstrom and 60 other multi-brand stores around the U.S. Eight percent of that revenue currently comes from North American sales.

Along with 10 existing flagships in Europe and one in Russia, the brand has numerous shop-in-shops in various countries including Japan and South Korea, WWD reports.
