Faconnable Names New U.S. Chief

Faconnable (Nice, France) has named Yonni Mrejen to a new position, vp of U.S. retail and operations.

Mrejen, formerly director of U.S. retail operations for Lacoste (Marseilles, France), will be based in the New York offices of Faconnable USA Corp., where he will be responsible for enhancing the company’s current retail stores and expanding the brand into new U.S. markets.

“As we quickly commence the building of our U.S. structure, I am pleased to have someone of Yonni’s caliber joining us,” said Maher Mikati, interim ceo of Faconnable and executive director of M1 Group (Beirut, Lebanon), which bought Faconnable in 2007 for $210 million.
