FCB/RED Acquires Chute Gerdeman

FCB Chicago’s FCB/Red retail and shopper marketing division has acquired Columbus-based environmental design firm Chute Gerdeman. The move will allow the organization expand its client offerings beyond omnichannel retail marketing into connected physical branded experiences.

The new shopper division will be led by Tina Manikas, president of FCB/Red. “We’re thrilled to have the Chute Gerdeman team come together with our retail shopper division, she said. “As a recognized industry leader, they bring a unique offering and distinguished track record of creating branded environment that…will allow us to deliver seamless experiences that keep the shopper at the heart of what we do.”

The two firms first began working together in 2016 to collaborate on new business opportunities. Chute Gerdeman will retain its name and Columbus office as well as its full complement of strategic, creative and implementation teams. —Jennifer Acevedo
