F&F to Expand in Middle East, Eastern Europe

F&F, the value fashion brand exclusively available at Tesco Plc (Cheshunt, U.K.), has announced plans to roll out more than 50 new franchise stores over the next five years across the Middle East and Eastern Europe, including Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia and Kazakhstan.

The brand, which is currently carried in about a dozen countries, already has standalone stores in Poland and the Czech Republic and 15 franchise stores in Saudi Arabia.

According to a report in Women’s Wear Daily, F&F will be partnering with the Al-Hokair Retail Group in Kazakhstan, Georgia, Armenia and Azerbaijan and with Dubai-based Al Futtaim in the Middle East.

In Tesco stores throughout the U.K., F&F sales rose 9 percent last year to about $1.5 billion.
