Fiesta Wal-Mart

Wal-Mart de Mexico SA (also known as Wal-Mex) has announced that it will invest more than 6 billion pesos over 18 months to set up 67 new outlets in Mexico. The investment plan includes five new Sam«s Clubs outlets, 20 Wal-Mart supercenters and 24 restaurants, as well as other retail centers.

Wal-Mart de Mexico is the largest retailer in Mexico, with about 500 stores and restaurants. These include Aurrer‡, Bodega Aurrer‡, and Superama supermarkets and hypermarkets; Suburbia apparel stores; and Vips, El Porton and Ragazzi restaurants. It also runs about 70 Wal-Mart Supercenters and Sam's Clubwarehouses.
