Fitch:Worldwide Adds New VP Melissa Hoffman to head business development in North America
Global branding and design firm Fitch:Worldwide (London) has hired Melissa Hoffman as vp, business development for North America.

Working from Fitch's New York office, Hoffman will oversee consolidation of the consultancy's North American consumer environments offer and identify cross-selling opportunities between Fitch:Worldwide and the co-located Cordiant-owned sister companies of 141 Worldwide, Bates Worldwide and Healthworld Communications Group. She will also support the company's trends forecasting and strategy, consumer environments design, product development, brand communications and packaging offerings with evolving sales protocol.

“Few consultancies can claim such a history of innovation and also be as nimble as Fitch:Worldwide has proven to be in accommodating the sea-changes in our industry,” says Hoffman. “I wanted to be a part of such a culture.”

Hoffman joins Fitch:Worldwide from Gensler's 585 Division, where she focused on branding, graphic and retail design as vp, business development and strategic marketing. She has also held positions with dg group (formerly Desgrippes Gobe and Associates), Pentagram Design and Esquire magazine.

“Melissa's track record with three of the leading design firms in the world in directing new business and client services programs in the U.S., Europe and Asia is peerless and will be a considerable asset to Fitch:Worldwide's campaign to utilize fully its international network of offices in securing exciting interdisciplinary accounts,” says Kevin Roche, ceo, Fitch:Worldwide North America. “She is ideal for developing our presence in New York, while consolidating our consumer environments' initiatives throughout North America.”
