ProTech Fixture & Display L.L.C. (Mandeville, La.) and Showbest Fixture Corp. (Richmond, Va.) have announced an affiliation to create a partnership of two store fixture manufacturing companies.
Showbest has 120,000 square feet of manufacturing space, ProTech 150,000 square feet. They also have a strategic alliance with China POP Direct.
Jim Schubert, Showbest president and ceo (and president of the National Association of Store Fixture Manufacturers), said, “This affiliation allows us to create two very strong companies who will have the ability to combine their capabilities depending on the customer and type of project, but at the same time operate as separate entities. The financial strength and state of the art manufacturing capabilities of Showbest Fixture Corporation and the vast experience of the principles of ProTech Fixture & Display in sales, marketing and project management, will create a viable alternative to the top fixture manufacturers within our industry.”
ProTech Fixture & Display is run by president Sharon Daigle. In addition, Martin Bernheim, an industry veteran of 30 years in the store fixture industry, has joined ProTech as executive vp, responsible for value engineering, project management and quality control.
The two companies will have adjoining booths — numbers 3630 and 3630A — at the upcoming Global Shop trade show in Las Vegas.
