Food Lion Expands BOPIS to 25 More Stores

Food Lion (Salisbury, NC) has expanded its grocery pick-up service to 25 additional stores in the Carolinas.

Customers can confirm availability and place orders through the Food Lion To Go website or app, with pick-up available on the same day.

With the availability of BOPIS (buy-online-pick-up-in-store) at these stores and the recent expansion of its home delivery services, the retailer now offers pick-up or home delivery at 86 percent of its 10-state operating area.

Food Lion’s parent company is Ahold Delhaize (Zaandam, Netherlands). Its sister chains include Giant-Carlisle, Giant-Landover, Hannaford Brothers, Martin’s Food Markets and Stop & Shop.
