Management Changes:


ArchitecturePlus Intl. (Tampa, Fla., design firm) has hired Thomas Feazel as project manager, food retail studio. Feazel was previously architectural manager at Publix Super Markets.

ShopKo Stores Inc. (Green Bay, Wis., retailer) announced the resignation of Jeffrey Girard as its vice chairman, finance and administration, and as a member of its board of directors. Girard will continue on special assignment with the company until March 2005.

Cubellis Associates Inc. (Boston design firm) has hired Josh Burrows as vp, chain retail market sector. Burrows was previously with Braintree Sourcing LLC, an AholdUSA company.

Diversified Project Management Inc. (Hartford, Conn., construction-management firm) has hired Chris Sattler as a project manager.

Business Briefs:


Hubbell Lighting Inc. (Spartanburg, S.C., lighting manufacturer) has selected Greenville, S.C., as the site for its new headquarters. The new $25 million facility is projected to be finished in late 2006.

Color Kinetics Inc. (Boston provider of intelligent solid-state lighting systems and technologies) has signed OEM and licensing agreements with these four firms: Crystal Fountains, a provider of water-feature solutions; Electrix Illumination, a manufacturer of architectural lighting fixtures; Grupo G1-V3, a Mexico-based lighting firm; and KIM Lighting, a manufacturer of outdoor architectural and landscape lighting products.

Pratt Corp. (Indianapolis provider of visual merchandising and point-of-sale solutions for retailers) announced it is consolidating and moving all of its Indianapolis manufacturing and warehousing operations into a single facility. The company's new location, a 265,000-square-foot building at 3035 N. Shadeland Ave., formerly housed a Jenn Air/Maytag plant.

Do it Best Corp. (Fort Wayne, Ind., hardware, lumber and building materials buying cooperative for home-improvement retailers) has started work on its first corporate-driven home-build project for Habitat for Humanity Intl. near the company's headquarters.
