Management Changes:

Laufen/United States Ceramic Tile Co. (East Sparta, Ohio, ceramic products manufacturer and distributor) has appointed Tony Aliberti as its Northeast regional sales manager. Aliberti is responsible for sales in Connecticut, Delaware, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, eastern Pennsylvania, Rhode Island and Vermont.

Trion Industries Inc. (Wilkes-Barre, Pa., display and store fixture manufacturer) has promoted Rich Wildrick to sales manager of shelf systems. Wildrick joined the company in 1991.

Martin Professional Inc. (Frederikshavn, Denmark, lighting producer and distributor) has promoted former head of marketing, AnnaLise Laundrup, to the company's International Exhibitions Department. Laundrup is responsible for coordinating international trade shows and corporate events and project database development and maintenance. Ben Dickmann has been hired as marketing coordinator at Martin's U.S. headquarters in Sunrise, Fla. He most recently worked as marketing director for Bandit Lites.

Digital Printing & Imaging Association (DPI, Fairfax, Va., trade association for digital printing industry) has appointed Dan Marx to the new position of director of communications and service development. Marx most recently served as senior associate — government affairs for Screenprinting & Digital Imaging Association/DPI. He is responsible for developing member services in the digital area for both trade groups, maintaining editorial control of the DPI web site and developing educational programs for the association's trade conferences.

The Canadian Gift & Tableware Association (CGTA, Toronto giftware trade association) has appointed Paul Phillips president. Phillips has more than 20 years experience in the industry in senior executive roles with Walt Disney Co. and Royal Doulton.

Relocations:

Hydro Aluminum North America (Linthicum, Md., aluminum products, components and assemblies supplier) has moved its corporate headquarters to 801 International Dr., Ste. 200, Linthicum, MD 21090. The company has launched a web site with information about the company at www.hydroaluminumNA.com.

Business Brief:

The Echeverria Design Group (EDG, Coral Gables, Fla., design firm) has been commissioned by Italian upscale women's retailer Blunuata to plan and design inaugural boutiques in the U.S. Four stores will open in Florida at Tampa's International Plaza, Orlando's Mall of Millenia, Wellington Green in West Palm Beach and The Falls in Miami. EDG's senior designer Mario Echeverria and project manager John Naranjo are developing the prototype.
