Management Changes:

Wilsonart Intl. (Temple Texas, manufacturer of decorative surfacing products) has named Greg Martino regional manager for its New York metro center in Hicksville, N.Y., and Billy Yates as its Dallas-based regional manager, southwest region.

Chippenhook (Lewisville, Texas, manufacturer of visual merchandising, p-o-p displays, fixturing and packaging) has hired Adriane Staggs as an executive account manager for the eyewear, fashion and beauty markets.

Handels Klein (Toronto retail construction company) has appointed Paul Sanderson director, construction services.

Do it Best Corp. (Fort Wayne, Ind., buying cooperative for home-improvement retailers) has promoted Daniel Starr to vp, human resources, and general counsel, and Kim Gonzalez to communications manager.

Business Briefs:

PlayNetwork (Redmond, Wash., media entertainment provider for businesses) is providing customized music programming for more than 50 stores operated by Diesel (New York clothing retailer).
Cyro Industries (Rockaway, N.J., acrylics manufacturer) is celebrating its 30th anniversary. The company’s products are used in p-o-p displays, signage and packaging. CYRO is owned by Degussa (Dusseldorf, Germany, chemical conglomerate).
Kramer Lighting (Sturtevant, Wis.) has updated its web site, www.kramerlighting.com, to include a new home page, application information and a directory of product catalog specification-sheet pages.

Awards:

Gensler (San Francisco architecture firm) announced that the Santa Monica, Calif., installation of the “Ashes and Snow Nomadic Museum” it designed with Japanese architect Shigeru Ban won a gold in the 2006 Industrial Design Excellence Awards. The competition is co-sponsored by BusinessWeek magazine and the Industrial Designers Society of America.
