Awards:
Gensler (San Francisco architecture firm) announced that the Santa Monica, Calif., installation of the “Ashes and Snow Nomadic Museum” it designed with Japanese architect Shigeru Ban won a gold in the 2006 Industrial Design Excellence Awards. The competition is co-sponsored by BusinessWeek magazine and the Industrial Designers Society of America.
