Store Openings/Contracts:

JHP (London retail design firm) has been named by Ruetz bakery and café (Tyrolean, Austria) to update its brand positioning, corporate identity and store design.

Harlan Graphic Arts Services Inc. (Cincinnati graphics company) will produce and install graphics for the Helzberg Diamonds prototype stores in Atlanta and Denver. FRCH Design Worldwide (Cincinnati design firm) will complete the design and documentation.

 

Business Briefs:

DuPont™ Artistri™ (Wilmington, Del., digital printing for textiles company) will exhibit at the Latin America textile fair, Febratex 2006, in Brazil.

DigiPoS Systems Inc. (Burlington, Ont., retail p-o-s systems manufacturer) was featured on MSNBC’s “Winners Circle” program hosted by Terry Bradshaw.

Firehouse Image Center (Indianapolis printing company) acquired the Rho 350, a digital, high-resolution printer with 11-foot-wide, roll-to-roll output capabilities.

 

Awards:

Horton Lees Brogden Lighting Design (New York lighting design firm) received the IESNA/International Illumination Awards Lumen Award of Merit for its lighting concept at The National World War II Memorial in Washington, D.C.
