Design Within Reach (DWR, San Francisco) has hired Jennifer Morla as creative director. Morla has worked with the furniture retailer on an advisory basis since its founding in 1998. She has also overseen the development of marketing concepts for Apple Computer, Levi Strauss & Co., Williams-Sonoma, Chronicle Books and Nordstrom.
AdSpace Networks Inc. (New York provider of place-based digital video signage) has hired the following marketing and media industry veterans: Dominick Porco, chairman; Jeff Jensen, president; and William Ketcham, senior vp, marketing and programming. In conjunction with those hires, AdSpace has shifted its strategy toward local marketing in the communities in which its in-mall digital signage resides.
