Management Changes:

Design Within Reach (DWR, San Francisco) has hired Jennifer Morla as creative director. Morla has worked with the furniture retailer on an advisory basis since its founding in 1998. She has also overseen the development of marketing concepts for Apple Computer, Levi Strauss & Co., Williams-Sonoma, Chronicle Books and Nordstrom.

AdSpace Networks Inc. (New York provider of place-based digital video signage) has hired the following marketing and media industry veterans: Dominick Porco, chairman; Jeff Jensen, president; and William Ketcham, senior vp, marketing and programming. In conjunction with those hires, AdSpace has shifted its strategy toward local marketing in the communities in which its in-mall digital signage resides. As part of that new focus, senior vp John Henderson has added local and retail sales to his national account responsibilities.

Dragon Rouge (New York branding and design consultancy) has hired Stephen Pannone as creative director.

Frank Mayer & Associates Inc. (Grafton, Wis., point-of-purchase display firm) has appointed Dan Kinart an account executive.

SK-EarthLink (Los Angeles wireless company) has named the following to its senior executive team: Sky Dayton, ceo; Wonhee Sull, coo; Brent Cobb, executive vp, strategy and business development; Jay Lee, vp, products and services; Inho Shin, vp, technology; Terry Boyle,vp, operations; Todd Tappin, cfo; Stuart Redsun; evp/marketing; and Ali Zanjani, evp/sales and distribution.

Lam Lighting (Santa Ana, Calif.) has hired Scott Ley as eastern regional manager, based in Loganville, Ga.

Pinehurst Cos. Inc. (Mississauga, Ont., store fixture manufacturer) has hired Richard Kauffman as senior sales executive.

Avila Design (Oakland, Calif.) has added the following to its architectural team: Silvia Vojtkova-Zilli, Karina Castillo and Dusan Motolik.

Laminated Plastics Inc. (Parsippany, N.J.) has named Janine Rizzo controller.

Dodge-Regupol Inc. (Lancaster, Pa., flooring manufacturer) has expanded its manufacturing plant to produce EPDM rubber, the color flecks used in recycled rubber flooring. The company also announced that its ECOsurfaces Commercial Flooring unit has launched a new web site, at www.ecosurfaces.com.


Awards:

CompUSA (Dallas) has given Comcast Cable (Philadelphia) its Vendor of the Year Award — Digital Services. CompUSA offers Comcast's high-speed Internet service to customers in more than 130 of its stores nationwide.
