Mergers and Acquisitions:

Modern Mfg. (Miami, Fla., fixture manufacturer) has been acquired by Gabriel Logan LLC, a store display fixtures manufacturer based in Logan, Ohio. A large portion of Modern Mfg.'s operations will be moved to the Ohio headquarters, while the rest will remain in Miami.

Management Changes:

3rd Works (San Diego retail development services company) has named Arlo Robinson project manager for The Shops at Briargate in Colorado, a lifestyle center development by Poag & McEwen Lifestyle Centers (Memphis, Tenn.). Robinson headed the 3rd Works'team for the Aspen Grove lifestyle center in Littleton, Colo.

The Phillips Group (New York architecture firm) announced that Carl Mirbach has rejoined the firm as director of design for its Greenwich, Conn., office.
