Management Changes:

Bruck Lighting Systems (Costa Mesa, Calif.) has hired Megan Carroll as its Northeast regional sales director, based in New York. Carroll was previously with Philips Lighting Co.

Callison Architecture Inc. (Seattle) announces the following appointments to its senior staff: Robert Fisher, associate principal; Wyn Bielaska, senior architect; Christine Nakaoka, interior design director; and Glen Peterson, senior project manager.

Roland DGA Corp. (Irvine, Calif., marketer of inkjet printers and integrated printer/cutters) has hired Joseph Dawson as business development manager for its color products division.

MBH Architects (Alameda, Calif.) has hired the following: Bob Dewell, who has joined its QA/QC studio; April Chu, senior drafter, restaurant studio; Robert Viveros, drafter, retail developments studio; Julie Chiu, drafter, specialty retail studio; and Peter Lee and Tiffany Kirk, drafters, retail studio.

Pflow Industries Inc. (Milwaukee provider of vertical lifting solutions) has appointed Mark Meyer as its Midwest regional sales manager.

BHDP Architecture (Cincinnati) announces the following promotions: Robin Claucherty, Michele Gaffney and Jeff Snively, to associates; Tom Sens, to associate principal; and Pam McDonel, to principal.

The Hale Group Ltd. (Danvers, Mass., consulting firm serving the food and agribusiness industries) has hired Jon Holt as an associate principal in its West Coast foodservice practice.

Leviton Mfg. Co. (Little Neck, N.Y., producer of electrical and electronic products) has named Dennis French lighting controls sales specialist for metropolitan New York.


Business Briefs:

Hunt Design (Pasadena, Calif.) created an exhibit and signage program for the new observation deck atop Rockefeller Center in New York and a signage and wayfinding program for Alcatraz Island in San Francisco bay.

Blu Dot Design and Mfg. Inc. (Minneapolis) announced that its furniture is being featured during the 16th season of “The Real World” reality TV program on MTV. The weekly show, set in a home in Austin, Texas, began its six-month run on June 21.


Awards:

Dillon Works! Inc. (Mukilteo, Wash., custom design and fabrication company) was named the 2005 “Best Custom Fabricator” by the Society of Environmental Graphic Design (SEGD).

The American-Israel Chamber of Commerce, Southeast Region (Atlanta) has bestowed Eagle Gold Star awards to Scitex Vision and Resolute Networks/Arris for generating jobs and investment in the U.S. and Israel. Scitex, based in Netanya, Israel, with its U.S. headquarters in Marietta, Ga., is a manufacturer and distributor of digital ink-jet presses and inks. It was honored as the “Israeli Company of the Year.” Resolute Networks, based in Modi'in, Israel, with its U.S. operations based in Atlanta, received the “Deal of the Year” award in recognition of its joint venture with Arris (Suwanee, Ga.) to provide voice and data services to businesses over an existing cable network.
