Management Changes:

Merger:

Cubellis (Boston architecture, interior design and engineering firm) has merged with Synalovski Gutierrez Romanik Architects Inc. (SGR, Fort Lauderdale, Fla., architecture firm) to form the joint practice, Cubellis sgr, in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.

Store Openings:

Borders Group (Ann Arbor, Mich., book, music and movie retailer) will open two Pennsylvania locations in November: a 22,000-square-foot store in the Lycoming Mall in Muncy Township, Pa.; and a two-level, 24,000-square-foot store in the Shadyside area of Pittsburgh.

Cabela’s (Sidney, Neb., hunting, fishing and outdoor gear retailer) will open a 165,000-square-foot superstore in Richfield, Wis., in early October.

 

Business Brief:

PlayNetwork Inc. (Redmond, Wash., media services provider) has partnered with BroadSign Intl. Inc. (Eagle, Idaho, software solutions provider) to offer video media solutions for retail, hospitality, health clubs, banking institutions and other businesses with the BroadSign™ Suite software.
