Frye Debuts on West Coast

The Frye Co. (New York), one of the country's oldest operating shoe companies, will open its first West Coast store on October 1.

The new 800-square-foot store will be at 200 Fillmore Street in San Francisco, reports Women’s Wear Daily.

The West Coast location will have an interactive “Maker Wall,” where customers can scan a lettered swatch’s RFID tag to see other items available in that color and potentially click-through to purchase.

The company also has plans for a Nashville store that will include a performance stage, as well as a Denver store that includes a fireplace with boot warmers and hot cocoa.
