Gap Appoints 'Pink' Creator Evp

Wendi Goldman, creator of the Victoria’s Secret Pink marketing and merchandising campaign has been named Gap Inc.’s (San Francisco) executive vp of product design and development, according to Chain Store Age. While the title is a new one at Gap, Goldman will assume the duties of former creative director Rebekka Bay, who was terminated in January.

Goldman’s Gap Inc. appointment is a homecoming of sorts for the executive, who began her career with the company’s Banana Republic brand. She most recently served as chief product officer at the C. Wonder (New York) chain of boutiques.
