Greg Clark Joins Jones Group

The Jones Group Inc. (New York) has named former J.C. Penney executive Greg Clark as its chief marketing officer.

Clark was most recently senior vp of creative marketing for Penney’s. He had previously held creative and marketing roles at Lane Bryant, Marshall Fields and Toys ‘R’ Us.

Jones Group said Clark will spearhead the company’s global marketing and brand identity across the various fashion brands in the portfolio and will also be responsible for digital media strategy, brand development and creative services. He will report to chief creative officer Stefani Greenfield.

He replaces Stacy Lastrina, who gave up the job last year but had continued to consult with the firm on special projects.
