Gucci to Open Maryland Outlet

Gucci (Florence, Italy) has announced it will open an outlet store in the greater Baltimore/Washington D.C. area at Prime Outlets – Queenstown, an upscale 298,000-square-foot shopping center. The 6000-square-foot store, which will offer shoppers 30 to 50 percent off clothing, footwear, handbags and accessories, is expected to open on July 4.

“We offer shoppers a comprehensive collection of globally-recognized designer and leading brand-names and are thrilled Gucci has chosen Queenstown as the home for it newest outlet store,” says Jackie May, marketing manager for Prime Retail, which owns and operates 21 outlet shopping centers in the U.S. and Puerto Rico. “Gucci Outlet will certainly be a draw for our local shoppers, as well as tourists visiting our region.”

The luxury brand joins an existing collection of designer and brand-names at the outlet center, including Coach, Michael Kors, St. John, BCBG MAXAZRIA, Juicy Couture, Polo Ralph Lauren, Banana Republic and J.Crew.
