Hale to the Principal

Craig Hale, retail program director for the national retail and distribution division of Carter & Burgess (Fort Worth, Texas), has been named an associate principal in the nation's fifth-largest architecture and retail design firm.

Hale, a member of the American Institute of Architects, came to Carter & Burgess in 1997 from Zale's, the jewelry retailer.

Carter & Burgess ranked fifth in VM+SD's annual rankings of retail design firms, earning $23 million in retail-related fees in 2001 and designing 19 million square feet of retail space.
