Harrods Exec to Become Saks President

Hudson’s Bay Co. (Toronto) has announced Marigay McKee as the president of Saks Inc. McKee, previously chief merchant of Harrods (London) will replace ceo Stephen Sadove once the overall acquisition deal has been completed. Ron Frasch, president of Saks, will also step down at that time.

Jennifer de Winter, currently evp and director of stores for Saks, will become chief merchandising officer and report to McKee.

The deal is expected to close by the end of the year.

McKee is a 14-year veteran of Harrods, Europe’s largest department store as well as one of its most luxurious and, at 180 years, one of its oldest.
