HBC Names Nelson Mui Men’s Fashion Director

Hudson's Bay Co. (Toronto) has named Nelson Mui its new men’s fashion director.

Mui, a former style editor for Travel + Leisure magazine who was vp of marketing and communications for David Chu Design, will oversee the men’s fashion direction for both Hudson’s Bay and Lord & Taylor chains. He will report to Suzanne Timmins, senior vp of the fashion office for HBC. 

According to Women’s Wear Daily, Mui will split his time between New York and Toronto.

In addition to his stint at Travel + Leisure, Mui was also senior editor of San Francisco magazine and wrote for the now-defunct Daily News Record (DNR), WWD’s former menswear stablemate.
