hhgregg Opens 14 Stores in One Day

Indianapolis-based appliance and electronics retailer hhgregg is opening 14 new Chicago area stores today. Chicago is a new market for hhgregg, and with these openings, it will become the company’s largest market.

“Chicago is an exciting new market for hhgregg, and we are delighted to have a presence here,” says Jeff Pearson, vp, marketing for hhgregg. “We look forward to serving new customers in the area who can expect to find a large selection of products, very competitive prices and outstanding customer service at our stores.”

The new Chicagoland stores are located in the neighborhoods of Gurnee, Vernon Hills, Geneva, Schaumburg, Downers Grove, Bloomingdale, Arlington Heights, Merrillville, Joliet, Naperville, Orland Park, Niles, Crystal Lake and Norridge.

The specialty retailer operates 204 stores under the name hhgregg and Fine Lines banners.
