Hickey Freeman Unveils N.Y. Redesign

Sunday night Hickey Freeman (Rochester, N.Y.) completed the redesign of its New York store — a project that began in 2011.

According to Women’s Wear Daily, the delay was due to the company’s parent company filing for bankruptcy shortly after the project began.

The facelift included updated lighting, fixtures and displays. In addition to shirts and ties, the men’s and boy’s suit retailer now offers a wide array of accessories, including watches, shoes, scarves and belts. Since the interior was completed at the end of May, sales are up 64 percent over last year.
