High Times to Open Branded Flagships

Cannabis publication High Times (New York, N.Y.) plans to open two branded flagships in two legal markets: Los Angeles and Las Vegas, reports Forbes. According to a press release, High Times has "entered into binding letters of intent with holders of dispensary licenses in Las Vegas and Los Angeles."
“Having the second mover advantage in this industry, combined with the present downturn in the cannabis capital markets, provides unique timing for High Times to help non-branded stores to differentiate themselves from the industry’s larger multi-state operators,” says Adam Levin, executive chairman of High Times.
The stores will reportedly be branded with the High Times logo and name and will sell cannabis products from each of the respective markets.
