Swedish fashion chain Hennes & Mauritz (H&M, Stockholm) will collaborate with luxury footwear and accessories brand Jimmy Choo this fall. The collection, slated for 200 stores around the globe in November, will be the chain’s first designer accessories collaboration as well as Jimmy Choo’s first women’s clothing collection. The line will also include men’s and women’s footwear, accessories and bags. “It’s a joy to be able to offer top end designer shoes and bags of excellent quality to our customers,” says Margareta van den Bosch, H&M’s creative advisor.

Tamara Mellon, who founded Jimmy Choo in 1996, says her collection will appeal to fashion savvy, street smart women, and will include some great pieces for men too. “Jimmy Choo will bring to H&M a sophisticated, fashion forward, accessible and glamorous collection – the perfect party pieces to buy now and then wear out at night,” she says.

H&M was founded in 1947 and operates 1800 stores in 34 markets.
