House of Fraser Ceo Exits

Nigel Oddy, the ceo of House of Fraser (London), has announced his resignation.

In 2014, Sanpower Group purchased House of Fraser, which currently has 59 stores in the U.K., reports Women’s Wear Daily. The retailer’s first store in China is planned for this year and will sell international and local Chinese brands. There are two other Chinese locations planned.

In the U.K., a new House of Fraser will open in Northamptonshire, England, while 12 other locations will be renovated.

Oddy will remain until next year to ensure a smooth transition.
