Interim Ceo Named at Rue21

Warrendale, Pa.-based discount specialty retailer of teen apparel, Rue21, announced that its CFO Keith McDonough will serve as interim ceo, replacing Bob Fisch.

Other leadership changes include the departure of general merchandise manager Kim Reynolds, Nina Barjesteh appointed as chief merchandising officer, and Elizabeth Hodges named as Rue21’s chief customer officer, reports the Pittsburgh Post Gazette.

“We thank Bob Fisch and Kim Reynolds for their 15 years of collaboration and passion in building Rue21 into a leading teen specialty apparel retailer,” said McDonough in a statement.

The retailer has more than 1200 stores in 48 states and plans to open 40 more this fiscal year.
