Italian Label Opens First UK Store

Italian brand Golden Goose Deluxe (New York) just opened a two-story store in London, reports Women’s Wear Daily.

The brand, known for its patchwork leather sneakers, recently opened stores in New York, Tokyo, Seoul, South Korea, Milan and Paris. The store at Dover Street in London’s Mayfair neighborhood will be Golden Goose Deluxe’s first retail space in the U.K.

The store’s minimalist design sets off the retailer’s more colorful pieces such as green metallic leather biker jackets and red tulle skirts. It also incorporates a blend of Italian and U.K. design elements with a Venetian antique mirror and a vintage British sofa from the 1950s.
