It’s About Times

The Paradies Shops (Atlanta) has announced an exclusive agreement with The New York Times Co. (New York) to create in-airport Times-branded retail book stores.

Paradies is a retail developer and concessionaire, operating over 350 stores in 61 airports across the United States and Canada.

Under the agreement, The Times Co. will grant Paradies a license to develop and operate the branded airport book stores in airports, including the right to sell New York Times merchandise. These stores will be jointly developed in the United States and Canada. In addition, Paradies will give The New York Times newspaper prominent placement in all of its existing airport newsstand racks.

Financial terms of the agreement were not announced. Specific store opening plans will be announced following the development phase of the agreement.
