J.Crew, CFDA Create Capsule Collection

For the fourth year, J.Crew (New York) is collaborating with the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) to create a capsule collection. The retailer is working with the winners of the 2014 CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Award to market small collections in-store and online. This year, J.Crew will also open a pop-up shop in Manhattan to market the collection. The pop-up shop, located on Prince St., will be open for 24 hours starting this Thursday night, according to Women’s Wear Daily.

Nineteen pieces of women’s apparel and jewelry from four winners and finalists are being produced for the collection. The pieces are centered around a theme of indigo and will be sold in nine J.Crew stores in the U.S. and abroad.
