J. Jill to Open New York Flagship

J. Jill (Quincy, Mass.) will open its first brick-and-mortar store in New York this summer. The 2816-square-foot unit will be located in Manhattan’s West Side at 160 Columbus Avenue.

According to Women’s Wear Daily, Manhattan is the brand’s top-volume market, and the move is an effort by the brand’s leadership to raise its profile and build its omnichannel presence. A brand spokesperson said the company expects to open more stores throughout New York over the next year.

The flagship store will open in September.
