Jim Schubert to Head NASFM

Jim Schubert, president of Showbest Fixture Corp. (Richmond, Va.), has been named acting president of the National Association of Store Fixture Manufacturers (NASFM, Hollywood, Fla.).

Schubert, who had been vp of the manufacturers’ trade association since 2002, succeeded David Reynolds, formerly president and ceo of The Miller Group (Richmond, Va.), who resigned for health reasons.

Schubert, a member of the NASFM board of directors since 1997, will complete the current term of office through October, 2004, as acting president, and then will serve as president for the following two years.
