Joe Fresh Rolls Out Kids' Line in U.S.

Joe Fresh (Toronto) launched its children’s wear in the U.S. this week and is considering creating a separate kids’ chain, which would most likely appear first overseas, according to Women’s Wear Daily.

The kids’ collection made its debut in Canada in 2007, and started selling at the company’s Fifth Avenue flagship in Manhattan this week, as well as online in the U.S.

Joe Fresh president Mario Grauso said freestanding Joe Fresh children’s stores will eventually become a necessity but will probably launch internationally before they roll out in the U.S. The company currently operates six stores in the U.S. — all in Manhattan — and is looking to expand.
