The Boston chapter of the Retail Design Institute (RDI) elected Gensler senior associate, Julie Reker, AIA, RDI, LEED AP as vice president for a two-year term.
RDI promotes the advancement and collaborative practice of creating selling environments. Its members includes retailers, architects, interior designers, contractors, educators, and other professionals dedicated to designing and building retail environments.
With more than twenty years of architectural design and retail experience, Reker leads the retail practice area in Gensler’s Boston office. Whether her client targets urban millennials or suburban mall walkers, from fashion to financial services, Reker guides the project to a moment of excitement and delight.
As a member of the chapter’s executive committee, Reker will direct the chapter’s programming, communications, and strategic planning. She graduated from the Carnegie Mellon University School of Architecture.
