LEDucation Expo Officially Sells Out for 6th Consecutive Year!

Exhibit space for the 8th annual premier event on LED Technology to be held in NYC on March 18 & 19th is once again 100% sold out.

The Designers Lighting Forum of New York (DLFNY) is proud to announce that the exposition show floor for LEDucation 8 is at 100% capacity. With a confirmed presence of over 220+ leading manufacturers of LED products and technology, the annual educational / expo continues to grow exponentially each year as LEDucation 8 marks its largest event in its’ eight year history.

LEDucation organizers have moved the annual spring event to a new location in 2014 to accommodate for both exhibitor and attendee growth.  Both the exposition and educational sessions for LEDucation 8 will be held at the Sheraton NY Times Square Hotel located just five blocks from Times Square at 811 7th Avenue at West 52nd Street, New York, NY in the heart of Midtown.  The educational sessions and expo will be held in the Empire and Metropolitan Ballrooms located on the second floor of the hotel.

“We are simply overwhelmed with the continued growth and support we have received from the industry and the number of new and returning manufacturers who have chosen to exhibit with us,” commented Event Co-Chair, Burt Grant. “The relocation of the event to a new venue and the expansion of the show floor was just a natural progression for LEDucation to continue its position as the industry’s leading tabletop event on LED Technology.  As the market and technology for LED’s continues to grow and expand, we try to accommodate for this growth, yet still retain the original essence of the educational event as an intimate show. Given that we have consistently sold out of exhibit space for the past five years, the event committee felt that 2014 provided a great opportunity to relocate the event to a larger venue to allow for our continued growth and success.

LEDucation 8 is expected to draw more than 4,000+ lighting and design professionals during its new 2-day format on March 18 & 19th, 2014 in New York. The Exhibit Hours will open at 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday and 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday with LED presentations scheduled at various times throughout each day.  Online Registration will open in late January at www.leducation.org. DLF and IES members can attend at no charge with advance registration.  Students are also encouraged to attend as a complimentary guest with a valid ID.
