Lighting for Tomorrow: National Lighting Fixture Design Competition

Competition inviting new, innovative designs for energy-efficient residential light fixtures. The American Lighting Association (ALA), the Consortium for Energy Efficiency (CEE), and the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) are sponsoring this competition to encourage the development of a wider range of residential lighting fixtures using high-efficiency light sources. The competition is open to lighting fixture manufacturers and professional lighting designers. Students are eligible to participate only in partnership with a manufacturer or lighting designer.

The deadline for submission of the registration form, which is an “intent to submit,” is January 31. Finalists will be announced at the ALA Conference, New Orleans.
