Louis Vuitton (Paris) has named Lanessa Elrod as its new Americas President.

As of April 1, Elrod will replace Anthony Ledru, who will become Louis Vuitton’s new executive vp of commercial activities, reports Women’s Wear Daily.

In 2010, Elrod started with the retailer as director of marketing for leather goods, eventually becoming vp of merchandising and senior vp of Louis Vuitton’s retail network in America. Before Louis Vuitton, she worked at Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue and Bergdorf Goodman.
