Manyavar Announces Big Expansion

Ethnic Indian menswear retailer Manyavar (Mumbai, India) has announced an aggressive expansion plan, aiming to open 500 new stores by 2016.

In addition to the brand’s new 16,000-square-foot Mumbai flagship, the company plans to open stores throughout India, the Middle East, the U.S. and the U.K.

“In Delhi and Bangalore, we have five flagship stores each. We have 40 stores in Delhi and 12 in Mumbai. By 2016, we plan to open 500 stores,” Manyavar vice president Sushil Agarwal told FashionUnited. “There will be one flagship in every Tier I, II city. Metros will have at least three or four stores.”
