Marc Jacobs Names New Ceo

LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton (Paris) has named Givenchy ceo Sebastian Suhl the new ceo at American fashion house Marc Jacobs International, according to Women’s Wear Daily.

Suhl, 46, joined Givenchy in 2012 after a long career at Prada Group, and is arriving at Jacobs roughly nine months after the designer wrapped a 16-year career as Vuitton’s first artistic director to focus on his signature fashion house and ready it for an initial public offering — a process Suhl is familiar with from his Prada days, WWD reports.
