Mattress Firm Acquires Two Companies

Mattress Firm (Houston) has taken over 57 Bedding Experts and Back to Bed locations in the greater Chicago area.

The retailer bought the two bedding chains as part of a $60 million acquisition earlier this year.

Mattress Firm now operates 1500 stores — both corporate and franchised — in 36 states and expects revenue to approach $2 billion a year, reports the Chicago Tribune.
