McDonald’s Reaching Out to Cleveland Hero

McDonald's Corp. (Oak Brook, Ill.) has indicated it will “be in touch” with Charles Ramsey, neighborhood hero in the Cleveland kidnapping story.

Ramsey, credited with calling the police and breaking down the door of the house so Amanda Berry could escape her 10-year kidnapping captivity, told the 911 dispatcher, “Hey check this out, I just came from McDonald's right? And I’m on my porch eating my little food and this broad is trying to break outta the f—-ing house next door to me,” according to Mail Online (dailymail.co.uk).

McDonald’s told Yahoo Business Insider that the local Cleveland franchise “would be reaching out to Ramsey.”

And the company tweeted: “We salute the courage of Ohio kidnap victims & respect their privacy. Way to go Charles Ramsey-we’ll be in touch.”
