Men’s Wearhouse

Men’s Wearhouse Inc. (Houston) reported a 10.4 percent increase in total sales for the fiscal month ended April 30, 2005. U.S. sales increased 9.8 percent and same-store sales were up 5.1 percent. In Canada, total sales gained 16.2 percent and same-store sales were up 7.2 percent.

In the retailer’s first quarter of fiscal 2005, total company sales gained 14.1 percent; in the U.S., sales were up 14.2 percent and same-store sales gained 10.9 percent; in Canada, sales were up 13.7 percent and same-store sales gained 4.2 percent.
