Michael Kors Announces New York Flagship

Michael Kors (New York) has announced its opening of a 1700-square-foot flagship at Brookfield Place, formerly the World Financial Center in New York, Women’s Wear Daily reports. Retail property in Brookfield Place, which is currently undergoing a $250 million renovation, is slated to open in 2014 and will face the 9/11 Memorial. The smaller-scale store will be dedicated to accessories.

“They want to make it a little jewel box,” Edward Hogan, national director of retail leasing for Brookfield Place, told WWD.
