Microsoft Announces New Store Locations

During an investor conference last week, Redmond, Wash.-based Microsoft announced locations of three additional stores, including the Mall of America (Bloomington, Minn.), Oakbrook Center near Chicago and Seattle’s Bellevue Square

Ceo Steve Ballmer told investors that the point of the retail-store strategy was to develop “a touch point and a distribution point and a showcase point with consumers,” reports the Minneapolis / St. Paul Business Journal.

The computer software company operates stores in Arizona, Colorado and two in California.
