ModCloth Expands Offline Strategy

ModCloth (San Francisco) is looking to expand its offline strategy, reports Women’s Wear Daily, and as a part of that effort, has added three executives to help.

Elizabeth Cooksey has been named vice president of stores and retail operations. Cooksey helped the company open its pop-up “Fit Shop” last summer and has experience working for brands such as Nike (Beaverton, Ore.) and Anthropologie (Philadelphia).

The company also hired Mary Alderete as chief marketing officer, who will help the company build its brand. Alderete previously worked for brands including Gap Inc. (San Francisco) and Levi Strauss & Co. (San Francisco).

In addition, Mike Janover has been hired as vice president of marketing and will help the company’s efforts of customer acquisition and retention. Janover previously worked for Yahoo! Inc. (Sunnyvale, Calif.) and CBS Interactive (San Francisco).
