Montreal’s Upcoming Royalmount Complex Lands Louis Vuitton, Gucci and More

Royalmount, which is expected to eventually be home more than 170 stores including 60 restaurants and other experiential attractions in midtown Montreal, has unveiled its first set of retailers: Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Tiffany & Co., RH, Sandro and Maje.

“To be able to announce that some of the world’s leading brands will be opening major flagship stores at Royalmount stands as testament to the quality of the project and its ability to meet demand in the Quebec market for luxury experiences,” Andrew Lutfy, President and CEO of the complex’s development, Carbonleo, said in a news release.

The Louis Vuitton store, the brand’s first in Quebec, will be a 9150-square-foot flagship store. Gucci is also bringing its first dedicated store to the market in a 8700-square-foot space. They will be joined by Tiffany & Co., which is opening its largest store in the city, and RH, which will open a 46,500 square-foot gallery, the brand’s flagship store in Montreal and again, a first in Quebec.

Joining these brands are Sandro, which will open a 2,700-square-foot store, and a Maje with 1,500 square feet.

With an overall budget of $7 billion, Royalmount will consist of an 824,000-square-foot, two-level retail and lifestyle complex. Openings for all these stores are expected in spring 2024.
