Moschino Opens New York Flagship

Aeffe Spa (Rimini, Italy) has opened a new Moschino flagship store in New York.

According to the Daily News Record, the store in the Meatpacking District is filled with the Italian fashion brand’s signature heart motifs and witticisms.

The 2500-square-foot space on West 14th Street is between an Apple Store and a Hugo Boss shop currently under construction, and houses all the Moschino sub-brands and categories. About a quarter of the store is dedicated to men’s, “with hopefully more to come,” said Michelle Stein, president of Aeffe USA.

Moschino has 76 company-owned and franchised stores worldwide, but this is the only U.S. flagship. Moschino closed a five-story flagship on Madison Avenue about six years ago. “The idea was to open in a younger, more trafficked area and expose all the categories on one floor,” Stein told DNR.
