Moss is Sold to Private Equity Firm

Moss Inc. (Lincolnwood, Ill.), the designer and supplier of tensioned fabric visual merchandising apparatus for retail, has been acquired by Century Park Capital Partners (Los Angeles). Moss, which also has locations in Belfast, Maine, Salt Lake City and Las Vegas, was previously owned by The Riverside Co., a private equity firm co-headquartered in New York and Cleveland.

Moss chairman, president and ceo Charlie Corsentino is expected to keep the current management team in place.

“We look forward to supporting Moss as the company seeks to expand both organically and through add-on acquisitions,” said Century Park vp Guy Zaczepinski. “Charlie and his team, including evp/cfo Vince Marler, are very experienced operators with a wealth of industry experience and contacts. We at Century Park are excited to back them as they take Moss to the next level.”
